Our sand is CSA-compliant playground sand, locally harvested by Hutcheson Sand, made from naturally weathered granite.
Before reaching our playground, the sand undergoes a meticulous screening and washing process to remove silt, clay, and organic matter. Once on-site, we take it a step further by manually screening it with our cyclone and vacuum system to eliminate fine particles and dust. We also aerate and disinfect the sand daily to ensure it remains clean, fresh, and hygienic.
This sand is extensively tested and meets the highest safety standards, including CSA and ASTM certifications for impact absorption. The sub-angular grains provide excellent traction for walking and crawling, while also ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable play experience for children.

We take swift action if any accidents occur: Affected sand is promptly scooped up and discarded. Toys and equipment involved are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before returning to use.
No, we do not offer food for purchase. However, customers are welcome to bring their own food and drinks or enjoy the complimentary water, tea, and coffee available in our lounge area. Please ensure that all food and drinks are kept outside the sandbox, and that hands are cleaned before returning to play.
